Maharashtra Mandal France (M.M.F.) has been formed to promote and preserve various aspects of cultural and social activities for the Maharashtrians living in France and the French citizens living in Maharashtra.
Our Mission is to:
- Initiate, develop and implement a Franco-Marathi exchange in the field of education, culture, science and literature,
- Promote the Marathi culture and language in France and vice-versa
- Extend a helping hand to young entrepreneurs and professionals to explore opportunities on both sides
There are currently only a handful of Marathi families in France, but that statistic is changing fast. The Marathi adventurism combined with globalisation is resulting in a greater Maharashtrian presence here, particularly with regards to the ‘nouvelle generation’.
